The times meant very little in reality as the Formula One circus concluded the group test today at Jerez. With rain hindering normal procedure, many cut their programmes down and did not complete a full day as planned.
Due to the weather conditions and in view of the limited testing mileage permitted this year the BMW Sauber squad decided to stop testing at mid-day.
Pedro de la Rosa put in a good few laps for McLaren Mercedes while Fernando Alonso completed just nine laps in the sister MP4-22.
